    Description

1954 Topps Hank Aaron #128 SGC EX+ 5.5. The 1954 Topps issue was only 250 cards because Topps and Bowman were still in a card war, and each had signed many players to exclusive contracts. Topps spared no expense in the war, and for the first time Topps issued cards with two front images: a large colorized portrait and a small B&W action shot. Hank Aaron's rookie debut from 1954 Topps rightfully ranks among the hobby's most coveted acquisitions. Without a doubt, one of the most important trading cards of the post-war era. Aaron went on to become a 3-time NL MVP, and a 21-time All-Star, Aaron was an outstanding overall player. Graded SGC EX+ 5.5.

Guide Value or Estimate: $6,000 - up.
