Few pundits gave the National League Champs much of a Fall Classic chance against a Cleveland Indians team which won an astounding 111 games with the most dominating Hall of Fame pitching rotation in history. But a four-game sweep at the hands of these Giants was an utter shock, establishing this Polo Grounds edition as one of the most celebrated in the hobby. This proof ticket (unused) could have witnessed Willie Mays' series setting catch in Game One. The high quality ducat has punch holes on the sides and light spot staining on back.
