    Description

1954 Enos Slaughter Signed St. Louis Cardinals Contract from The Enos Slaughter Collection. Despite winning 103 games in 1954, the Yankees looked up to Cleveland in standings when the regular season had concluded. Following his successful run with the Cardinals, Enos Slaughter landed in Gotham City for the beginning of the '54 campaign via a trade. It was said that upon learning of his trade to New York, Slaughter sat at his locker and openly wept. Slaughter would last five more years in the bigs. This contract is signed by Slaughter and Cardinals boss August Busch Jr. Customary folds. Letter of provenance from Slaughter family. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
