    Description

1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311 SGC Authentic. NOTE: In addition to the added color mentioned in the description, there is white added to the upper right corner. The white spot in the blue background above his hand is not on the card.

Any serious hobbyist with a thrill for vintage cardboard will immediately recognize the given example as one of the true gems of the industry - Mickey Mantle's 1952 Topps card. The now iconic card reigns as one of the single most sought-after cards of not just the 1950's but for the entire hobby. Visually, the card presents as a nice VG card with rich colors. It have been encapsulated SGC Authentic as the card appears to have been enhanced, spots and small segments of color have been added to a horizontal crease through the center of the card. Centering is imperfect and the corners have some wear; yet, it remains an attractive card. It's still a 1952 Topps Mantle that everyone either wants or doesn't realize it yet.
