    1942 Baseball Register & 1944 World Series Program from the Mort Cooper Estate. Mort Cooper was a four-time All-Star, two-time World Series champion, and the 1942 National League MVP. His 1942 Baseball Register (hardcover) by The Sporting News has "Morton Cooper" embossed in gold on front cover and a 29-page tribute to Gehrig inside. A 1944 World Series program (EX) scored for Game 1 at Sportsman's Park was also his personal copy. This lot also includes an unscored 1943 World Series program (St. Louis) with missing covers and heavy wear, and a 1944 scored program for Kansas City at St. Louis (EX+). Letter of provenance from son of Mort Cooper.
