    Description

1941 Play Ball Ted Williams #14 SGC VG 3. Baseball was having a glorious year in 1941. While Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak gets an abundance of the fame, it was this same year the "Splendid Splinter" passed the hallowed .400 mark ending the season batting .406. That same year, the hobby was given what is regarded by Ted Williams enthusiasts as his finest cardboard appearance. Offered is card #14 from the 1941 Play Ball series that no Red Sox fan should be without. Graded SGC VG 3, card exhibits solid centering, some soiling and modest corner tip wear.
