Description

1938 Brooklyn Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds Rare Light Bulb Ticket - Johnny Vander Meer's Second Consecutive No-Hitter & First Night Game in Brooklyn Ticket Stub, PSA Authentic. It was set to be a historic night at Ebbets Field June 15, 1938 before Johnny Vander Meer settled in on the mound. When the lefty had put his finishing touches on another masterpiece, it turned into a night baseball historians would talk about forever. After spinning a no-hitter his previous outing, Vander Meer toed the rubbed and recreated magic again as he set down the opposition without yielding a hit. Used for admission into that contest is this rarely seen Ebbets Field lower box light ticket. Graded "Authentic" by PSA, the ticket has outstanding graphics. Creasing is found mainly on the lower half and the corners are rounded. Encapsulated by PSA, Authentic.
