Description

1933 Sport Kings Carl Hubbell #42 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. Carl Hubbell made his MLB debut in 1928 and was on a streak of successful seasons where he was averaging 15 on 10 losses and had really come into his own during the 1933 to 1936 where he earned a 93-42W-L record (.689) on a 2.38 ERA plus a 1934 All-Star Game performance which was "pretty good." Being chosen as one of only three baseball players within a set called "Sport Kings" along side greats like Ruth and Cobb must have been quite a compliment for Hubbell who would earn his own Hall of Fame honors. Graded PSA Mint 9. Pop seven when graded MINT with none higher.
