    Description

1933 Goudey Pie Traynor #22 PSA NM-MT 8. Hall of Famer "Pie" Traynor and Pittsburgh shared a true love affair. Traynor played his entire 17-year career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and upon retirement was considered the best third basemen of all time for his 2,400 hits, 1,200+ RBIs and a lifetime .320 batting average. After baseball he served as manager of the Pirates and then worked for a Pittsburgh radio broadcaster for over twenty years from 1944 to 1965. Traynor had his #20 retired by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1972. This is a high quality card with centering to account for the PSA assessment. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of seventeen graded NM-MT with just one rated higher.
