1933 Delong Chick Hafey #19 PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop Three, None Higher. Chick Hafey was a tough hard-hitting slugger applied his trade with the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds for 13 seasons bewteen 1924 and 1937. From 1927 through 1932, Charles James belted out 858 hits and batted a eyebrow raising .339. Not too bad for a HoFer who is has gone under appreciated. After 13-seasons he saw his way to a career .317 average despite ill health and a sinus condition that led to poor eyesight. He tried to play in 1936 but his poor vision combined with bouts of dizziness brought an end to his career after the 1937 season. An irony as one would have to strain their own eyesight trying to find fault with this seemingly uncirculated card.Graded PSA NM-MT 8. Pop three when graded NM-MT and none have rated higher.
