    Description

1928 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Dual-Signed Book. The masters in their prime. "Babe Ruth's Own Book of Baseball" was released to the public at the height of the Yankees' Golden Age that saw Ruth and Gehrig claim the home run record and American League MVP individually in 1927, and the World Championship together in both 1927 and 1928. They are the only two signers of this hardcover first edition, autographing two different opening pages in 9/10 fountain pen ink. The binding is just a bit loose but otherwise the book exhibits nothing beyond moderate shelf wear to merit a condition caveat. Truly marvelous representations of arguably the most essential Yankees signatures. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA--Ruth Gem Mint 10, Gehrig Mint 9.
