1925 World Series Game Seven Full Tickets Sheet of 6. The defending World Champion Senators weren't able to defend their title in 1925, losing a heartbreaker of a Game Seven as they surrendered three runs to the Pirates in the bottom of the eighth to forfeit their late lead and, ultimately, the Series. The magic which Walter Johnson mustered up in Games One and Four couldn't quite be replicated in the final contest. This sheet of six full tickets was issued but never entered through the turnstiles at Forbes Field that October 15th afternoon.

So how did this magnificent find survive through the years? Our consignor's father was Joseph O'Toole, who worked his way through the organization with the Pirates. O'Toole's journey started in the ticket office and culminated in being named assistant general manager in the 1970's. This sheet of six full tickets was kept by the Pirates organization. There is a complete break to the perforation between the second and third tickets. Each ticket is crease free and the corners are solid. We consulted the PSA/DNA population report and there have been no other full tickets encapsulated by the firm from the that game at this point.
