    Description

1923 World Series Game Six Program (New York Giants) - Yankees Clinch Their First World Series Title. The third time was a charm for the men in pinstripes, as the Yankees claimed their first of twenty-seven World Championships to date after consecutive defeats in 1921 and 1922. The Game Six victory at the Polo Grounds would prove to be the clincher as the Bronx Bombers could finally call themselves champions. This scored program was part of the festivities on Monday, October 15. Babe Ruth's home run set the stage for the Yankees 6-4 win. A fold down the center undoubtedly was a way for the original owner to store this treasure in his pocket. The binding is tight and the program shows very light storage wear.
