    1923-38 Babe Ruth Insurance & Trust Fund Paperwork. Hundreds of pages of documents provide the most comprehensive view available into the personal investments, insurance and trust fund details of American sports' greatest figure. Most noteworthy within the voluminous contents are four ink autographs from the Yankee legend, each providing rare and desirable signature variations: 1) 1924 "Request for Prepayment of Premiums" document (5x8") signed "George Herman Ruth." Ink is 9/10. 2) Almost identical document to the first dated a few weeks later, likewise signed "George Herman Ruth" in 9/10 ink. 3) 1929 document requesting to increase size of trust fund (6x8"), signed "Above agreement is Satisfactory to me, Thanks, Geo. H. Babe Ruth." Ink is 10/10. 4) 1931 personal check signed by Walsh and "George Herman Ruth." Ink is 8/10. Also with the lot: Large and voluminous binders of personal investments (4), including: Life Insurance - original documents & copies from 1923-1938 with intimate details of Ruth's personal life insurance including an ad promotional for the Equitable Retirement Annuity; 1931 trust accounting, original letters and some copies; another Trust Fund binder with twelve Christy Walsh checks made to Babe Ruth's trust fund, 1928 & 1931 Trust Fund accounting not signed by Ruth, history of his income, ledgers, bank activity; last binder includes a mountain of continuous information from the previous binder of ledgers, accounting, letters and documents.
