    Description

1923-24 Detroit Tigers Opening Day Original Photograph from the Ty Cobb Collection. Nothing inspires like the sights and sounds of Opening Day. The long winter is a thing of the past and spring is upon the sporting world. This original photograph, pasted to a cardboard backing, shows the Detroit Tigers during Opening Day ceremonies. Most players are wearing their team-issued jacket while the American flag is proudly represented. The Georgia Peach is front and center here and has that determined look he was known for. "Cut" and an editor's mark are found on front.

Guide Value or Estimate: $1,500 - up.
