1921 Exhibits Babe Ruth PSA EX+ 5.5 - New to the Hobby! Welcome to the hobby Mr. Ruth. Hid away in a dark closet, was a collection of approx. fifty boxing and baseball cards from the Exhibit Supply Co. of the early 1920's. Most are from 1921. None are as historic as is this card featuring "Babe" Ruth who had been a Yankee only two years when his talents brought the Yankees to the World Series, the first of almost 50 appearances in the teams' gloried history. The collection was stored in a small unmarked box. Our only possible insight into the collection was a radio contest ticket dating to 1941 from a small Kansas town. The exact connection, if any, has been lost to time. The cards do not appear have been handled very much and could have very well have gone untouched for an entire century.

Graded PSA EX+ 5.5. One of four cards graded EX+ with nine recorded higher. This surprisingly strong copy shows very little evidence to expose the fact it is 101 years old. There is truly nothing about this card to contradict the PSA assessment but we would seriously doubt another card with a better technical grade has the same eye appeal.
