    1920's Lou Gehrig Original News Photograph by Thorne Studio, PSA/DNA Type 1. The collecting world has Thorne Studio to thank for some of the finest photography featuring the 1920's New York Yankees. Lou Gehrig is captured on this up-close 8x10" photo - taken during Spring Training in the 1920's. The Iron Horse appears in his prime and is ready for another full slate of games. Tack holes are visible and the two right corners are chipped. Two photography service stamps are revealed on back: "American League Service Bureau" and "Thorne Photo." LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
