Description

1919-21 W514 Babe Ruth #2 PSA NM 7 - Pop One, Two Higher. One of the earliest cards depicting Babe Ruth as a Yankee is this hand-cut strip card from the W514 series. It states, without apprehension, that Ruth was the "Home Run King," which he most certainly was. The card has been graded PSA NM 7. Whoever cut the card from its strip one-hundred years ago, did a masterful job, as the card is very well-centered. It was also taken care of, as it exhibits no major flaws. The surface of the front, as well as the printing, display very nicely. A really great example of a Ruth card, taken from his prime playing days. This is the only card graded NM with two rated higher.
