1917 World Series Program (New York). With the United States entering the fray of what would come to be known as World War I, just a week before the start of the 1917 Major League season, patriotic fervor was at an all-time high when the New York Giants and Chicago White Sox faced off in that year's World Series. Presented is the program sold at the Polo Grounds contests, featuring President Woodrow Wilson on the cover. This Series would prove to be the last won by the Chicago White Sox until 2005, a "curse" many attribute to the sin of the 1919 Black Sox scandal.

This offering is scored to Game 4 - a 5-0 Giants win. The cover was once detached but has been professionally restored.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
