Description

1916 Tango Eggs Buck Weaver PSA EX 5. The Tango Eggs series was unknown until a discovery of less than 500 cards in the early 1990's. Buck Weaver was one of the infamous "Eight Men Out" from the 1919 Chicago Black Sox scandal. He batted .324 in the series with no errors but while he maintained his innocence, Weaver was banned for having knowledge of the fix and not informing team officials. Offered is his 1919 Tango Eggs card where fans of HoFer Joe Tinker will recognize the illustration. Graded PSA EX 5. One of eleven total examples graded by PSA.
