    Description

1914 Rube Marquard Original News Photograph by Bain, PSA/DNA Type 1. While Rube Marquard's first Big League start was anything but awe-inspiring (he hit the first batter, walked two and gave up a grand slam), the lefty eventually became a Hall of Famer. This 4x6" photo, taken by George Grantham Bain, captures the young pitcher sitting in the dugout. The reverse has: "Culver Service" (stamp and sticker) and "Dec 19 1914" date stamp. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
