1914 Cracker Jack Del Pratt #93 PSA Good+ 2.5. Secretively nestled among the 144 subjects that comprise the 1914 Cracker Jack series are names that find their way into collections far less often than most others. It should come as no surprise that these scarcities are within the second half of the set. A famous name on that list is HoF pitching legend Christy Mathewson. Another famous rarity is Del Pratt of the St. Louis Browns. Other than both being major league baseball players, interestingly enough both attended college when few baseball players had the means to pursue higher education. The rarity of Pratt is well documented but not explained why he is one of biggest challenges facing the Cracker Jack hobbyist. Graded PSA Good+ 2.5. There are just seventeen total entries on the PSA census and that includes those with qualifiers. Staining is always an issue but thankfully this card has only modest amounts leaving pleasant eye appeal. Gently rounded corners surround the detailed illustration.
