1911 E94 Close Candy Ed Cicotte (Gold) PSA EX 5 - Pop Two, None Higher. Prior to 1919, Eddie Cicotte was a good, sold pitcher who was enjoying a .548 winning percentage on a ERA of of only 2.34. Eddie Cicotte was also the starting pitcher for the Sox in game 1 of the 1919 World Series. The first batter he faced was hit in the back. It was the sign the fix was on. His place in baseball history was practically a foregone conclusion. Offered is a 1911 E94 Close Candy card with a Gold background, graded PSA EX 5. One of just two cards graded EX with none higher.
