1910 E98 "Set of 30" Christy Mathewson (Red) PSA Good 2. From the John Esch collection. The E98 series features almost twenty different HoFers from a roster of only thirty subjects. Pitching legend Christy Mathewson is a key appearance in any series but as an E98 is particularly popular card. Our offered card has a deep red background and a close to perfectly centered portrait. Graded PSA Good 2. This is one of two cards tied as the highest graded examples of six confirmed with a Red background.
