1910-11 M116 Sporting Life Bill Dahlen PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop Four, One Higher The M116 Sporting Life series was one of the more comprehensive card promotions yet today are found in far fewer numbers than other sets of the same era. The tobacco and candy industries saw great success with colorful and flashy insert cards, but in an effort to appeal to the sports fan who read about sports as well, Sporting Life took the less-is-more approach and produced cards with a subdued pastel palette and the formal head-and-shoulder portrait work of Carl Horner. Here we present Bill Dahlen in PSA NM-MT 8. If centering was a hair better, we may be looking at a higher status.
