    Description

1902-11 W600 Sporting Life (Type 4) Rube Waddell (Uniform-Philadelphia) SGC 50 VG/EX 4 - Pop One, None Higher! Offered is a rare appearance by HoF pitcher Rube Waddell of Philadelphia from the W600 Sporting Life cabinet card series. Waddell was perhaps the flakiest and most undependable major league star of all time. He is infamous for showing up drunk for games on a regular basis. His legendary manager Connie Mack once remarked, "The Rube has a two million dollar body and a two cent head." Personal demons aside, Rube became a member of baseball's elite in Cooperstown in 1946. This is an exceptional Type IV cabinet with an uncommon "Uniform" portrait with the Philadelphia team! Graded SGC 50 VG/EX 4. This is the highest graded example from only five total found on the SGC census.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
