1888 E223 G & B Chewing Gum Danny Richardson PSA Good 2 (MK) - Only Two Graded Examples! Offered is a rare card from the first card promotion done in connection to candy or gum, an instance unique for any 19th century baseball issue. The G & B Chewing Gum set retains a level of obscurity almost without equal until a sizeable collection was discovered a century after the fact. There are just 7 total examples on the PSA census! Offered is Danny Richardson with the Philadelphia Quakers. His career lasted eleven seasons from 1884 to 1894, mostly for the new York Giants. He was also a member of New York's Player league squad. Our offered card presents Richardson in photo quality portrait. Graded PSA Good 2 (MK). This is one of only two cards graded by PSA, the other is a lone 2.5. For this entire series there are just seven cards noted on the PSA census.Auction Info
