1887-90 N172 Old Judge Tommy McCarthy (#301-9) PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop One, The Highest Graded Example! The career of HoFer Tommy McCarthy is highlighted by three seasons with batting averages of .350 (1890), .346 (1893) and .349 in 1894. Remarkably, he did not lead the league in any of those seasons. A speedster, McCarthy led with 83 stolen bases in 1890. Collectors have no fewer than nine poses of McCarthy to acquire. Our offered card is one of forty-nine Mccarthy cards graded by PSA.
