Late 1980's Don Drysdale Game Worn Los Angeles Dodgers Jacket. Our assumption is that the Hall of Fame pitcher was issued this classically styled jacket during his five year stint as a Dodgers radio broadcaster from 1988 until his passing in 1993, as the "W.A. Goodman & Sons [size] 48" tagging postdates his playing career. "Dodgers" script rises across chest in white tackle twill, with "Drysdale" spelled in bold block lettering on verso. Zipper front remains fully functional. Number "53" is markered to interior collar tagging. Jacket exhibits light wear with no distractions. The jacket was purchased by our consignor from an estate sale of a former Dodgers groundskeeper. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
