    Description

Late 1950's Boston Red Sox Game Worn Jacket. The height of Eisenhower-era baseball fashion. Wool letterman style jacket was only provided for team members, never available in retail outlets. The wool knit garment features a great chenille logo patch over the heart. Oddly, the jacket is reversible to an uninspiring brown twill with no visible Red Sox markings, perhaps for an anonymous departure from the park after a poor performance. "Tim McAuliffe" and size "40" labels are located in right and left pockets respectively. Fine condition with no flaws worthy of note. LOA from Heritage Auction Galleries.
