    Description

Early 1970's Willie Mays Game Worn Spikes. Widely considered to be the greatest "Five Tool" player in baseball history, Mays owed some of his late-career speed to this pair of Adidas spikes worn during his final years in San Francisco. This distinctive style in Giants black and orange is easily photo matched (www.GettyImages.com image #51494422, for example), and the number "24" in faded marker upon each heel is clearly vintage. Size eleven is likewise proper for The Say Hey Kid. Nice wear evident throughout. See for yourself what it's like to walk in the shoes of a legend. LOA from Lou Lampson.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
