Circa 2002 David Wells Game Worn Jersey. With 237 career victories at the time of writing, Boomer finds himself tied with Hall of Famers Clark Griffith and Waite Hoyt, and one better than another pinstriped hero, Whitey Ford. Here we present Wells' own home New York Yankees jersey, worn during his second two-season stint in the Bronx. Classic "NY" logo crosses the heart, with number "33," doubling up on his hero Babe Ruth, commanding the verso. "Russell Athletic [size] 54" label in tail has Wells' personal notation "G. Jersey," with "100% Polyester" and "3" Extra Body Length" flap tags affixed below. Wear is minimal, though this is rather typical for modern superstars who are afforded multiple shirts per season. A flawless gold sharpie signature appears on rear numerals. The jersey arrives at Heritage directly from Wells himself, with his letter of authenticity included. LOA from Lou Lampson. LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
