Description

Circa 1987 Wally Joyner Game Worn California Angels Jersey. Wally Joyner transformed Anaheim Stadium in Wally World during his breakout rookie season of 1986. The sweet swinging lefty became the first rookie to be voted into the All-Star Game by fans. Proving his opening act was no farce, Joyner hit a career high 34 home runs and drove in 117 when he donned this "Goodman & Sons [size] 44" jersey in 1987. Acceptable wear is shown on the grey road pullover with minimal puckering and fraying on the two-color tackle twill identifiers. Joyner signed on front in 10/10 black felt tip and inscribed "1987" additionally. Situated on the left sleeve is an Angels circular patch while the tail holds a Goodman & Sons manufacturer's label. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
