Circa 1975 Fred Lynn Game Worn Boston Red Sox Jersey. Fred Lynn took the baseball world by storm in 1975 when he won the Rookie of the Year and American League MVP. Not a bad opening act at all. This "McAuliffe size 42" jersey was worn by Fred Lynn during his monumental rookie campaign. The two-color tackle twill identifiers show consistent use with light puckering and some fraying. Staining appears at various points on both sides of the knit garment. Faint remnants remain from the removal of a black armband on the right sleeve. McAuliffe and size tags reside in the collar while the tail has year and washing instructions labels. LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
