Circa 1972 Nolan Ryan Game Worn Spikes. Adidas spikes are the style worn by the future Strikeout King early in his tenure with the California Angels. Though Ryan had shown genuine promise with his former New York Mets, it was his move west that transformed him into the inning-eating workhorse that would secure a permanent residency in the baseball pantheon. These size 9.5 spikes exhibit heavy wear with a faded marker number "30" under each tongue. Left heel is autographed in 8/10 blue sharpie. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
