Circa 1970's Mickey Stanley Game Worn Detroit Tigers Jersey. Known as a terrific defensive outfielder, Mickey Stanley spent his entire career with the Detroit Tigers and was a member of the 1968 World Series championship team. Stanley played out of position during the World Series as a shortstop to allow for a more potent offense and the move worked as the Tigers defeated the Cardinals 4 games to 3. The bottom of the jersey has been custom-hemmed thus missing the year tag. A name change is probable as there is some loose stitches on the upper part of the jersey. A great looking jersey with light staining of this 4-time Gold Glove winner.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
