    Description

Circa 1970 Don Sutton & Bill Buckner Game Worn Los Angeles Dodgers Jacket. Nearly two decades after this pair of young Dodgers shared the presented jacket, each would experience his most defining moment on the ballfield. On June 18, 1986, the veteran Sutton would record his 300th victory in the uniform of the California Angels. And precisely four months later, Buckner's own moment would be decidedly less joyful as first baseman for the Boston Red Sox. The odd juxtaposition of names is markered into the collar of this "W.A. Goodman & Sons" garment, used by both unforgettable athletes during their days in Dodger blue. Strong wear with minor moth holes at cuffs and collar. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
