Circa 1950 Hollywood Stars (PCL) Game Worn Jersey & Pants. Undoubtedly, one of the most high profile minor league franchises of all-time, the Hollywood Stars ruled the the Pacific Coast League during their second stint from 1938-57. The team also boasted some of the most attractive uniform designs which remain highly coveted by collectors.

Presented here is a zipper-front, road gray Hollywood Stars complete flannel uniform (jersey and pants) with "Hollywood" arched across the chest and "19" on the verso, all sewn-on in thick, vibrant blue on red felt. Red piping adorns the collar, zipper path, and sleeve cuffs with "Wilson" and "44" tags residing in the collar. Matching pants have "Wilson" and "38" tags in the waist with "4" in black on a white felt swatch.

The flannel fabric is heavy and soft with wonderful blue marbling, while the colors radiating from the identifiers remain just as vibrant as the day they were sewn on. Also, the entire uniform exhibits just the amount of wear that collectors desire, while remaining in fabulous condition. Letter of provenance from Wes Parker.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
