Circa 1945 Joe McCarthy Game Worn New York Yankees Pants. The Yankee franchise's all-time leader in managerial wins steered the club to seven World Championships during his sixteen seasons of Bronx service. Here we encounter pinstriped flannel pants worn at Yankee Stadium during the waning years of McCarthy's Big Apple tenure. Strong wear would indicate secondary usage at the minor league level, but all details from McCarthy's ownership remain, most notably a full name embroidered swatch at interior waistband. "Wilson [size] 40" tagging is found here as well. A scattering of moth holes must be noted, but they will draw little attention upon display. One original button remains at the fly.
