2019 Albert Pujols Game Worn & Signed Los Angeles Angels Batting Helmet Photo Matched to Twenty Games and Three Home Runs, MLB Authentic. He started his career as the National League Rookie of the Year in 2001, and gave baseball fans a thrill witnessed only four times in the history of the Majors just months ago as he joined Ruth, Aaron and Bonds in the 700 Home Run Club. The decades in between supplied three National League MVP Awards, eleven All-Star appearances, six Silver Sluggers and two Gold Gloves, leaving only the assurance of a first-ballot Hall of Fame induction for his legions of fans in his future. Not only one of the greatest hitters in the history of the sport, Pujols might be the most universally beloved since the Babe.This helmet joined the legend in the early weeks of his 2019 season. The MLB hologram states that the helmet was worn on April 4, 6, 10 and 20, but the experts at Sports Investors Authentication have conclusively photo matched it to March 28, 29, 30, 31 and April 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19 and 20. Pujols went 15 for 63 with 8 runs, 3 doubles, 3 home runs, 11 RBI's and 10 walks. We should also note that the first game was the Angels' season opener, while April 4th and 10th were the Angels' home opener and the Pujols' 1000th American League game respectively.
The helmet exhibits fine game wear with Pujols' sure-to-be-retired number "5" decal on verso and "Rawlings Authentic Collection [size] 7 3/8" labeling inside.
