Description

2014 Glen Perkins Minnesota Twins Game Worn Alternate Jersey. Glen Perkins is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who spent his entire career with the Minnesota Twins (2006-2017). Originally a starter, he found greater success after transitioning to a relief role in 2011, eventually becoming the team's closer. Perkins was a three-time All-Star (2013-2015) and recorded 120 career saves, known for his effective fastball-slider combination. Shoulder injuries began to affect his performance in 2016, leading to surgery and ultimately his retirement in 2018. A Minnesota native, Perkins was admired for his loyalty to the Twins and his outspoken support of local baseball.

Offered is an alternate home jersey worn by the Twins reliever in the 2014 season. The off-white, pinstriped look gives a satisfying retro sense. The right sleeve holds a patch commemorating the Twin Cities for hosting that year's All-Star Game, and the left sleeve holds a replica patch visualization of what Twin Cities means.

General use wear from the All-Star exhibited throughout. MLB Authentication hologram, HZ571338.
