2013 Mike Trout Game Worn Los Angeles Angels Throwback Jersey with Angels Letter & MLB Authentic - Photo Matched to 9/5 vs the Rays! This beloved Southern California superstar is arguably the number one five-tool player currently active in the sport. In the past nine seasons, Mike Trout placed first or second in the yearly league MVP balloting seven times, winning the coveted award thrice by the tender age of twenty-seven.His gamer presented here was worn during the 2013 campaign when he recorded 109 runs, 190 hits, thirty-nine doubles, nine triples, twenty-seven homers, ninety-seven RBI, thirty-three steals, 110 walks, and a .323 batting average, good enough for a second place finish in the A.L. MVP vote.
The home white 1961 Los Angeles Angels throwback jersey is constructed of a white knit material and features red/navy tackle twill identifiers announcing announcing "Angels" across the chest and "27" on the verso. "LA" and the Majestic logo adorn the left sleeve. Meanwhile, the lower left front tail reveals "Majestic Authentic Collection Size 48" labeling. Matching pants feature a majestic label next to a white swatch with "27 Trout 36-46 35 OB C 1960" in black embroidery.
The best things about this ensemble are the wear and provenance. Massive dirt stains from sliding appear on both the jersey and pants. MLB Authentication holographic stickers (EK666849 and EK666874), which are affixed to both pieces, attest to their use in the 9/5/2013 contest versus the Tampa Bay Rays at Angels Stadium of Anaheim when Trout registered a single and a walk in a 6-2 L.A. win. Also, this lot is accompanied by the original letter of provenance on Angels Baseball letterhead and a copy of the original Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim invoice (the consignor's personal information has been blacked out) from the auction it was purchased.
