    Description

2013 Matt Harvey Game Worn New York Mets Jersey--Worn in Near Perfect Game. A seventh inning single from Chicago White Sox right fielder Alex Rios was all that stood between Harvey and the first perfect game in Mets franchise history on May 7, 2013, the most dominant performance of the Mets ace's career. He would strike out a career-high twelve batters over nine complete innings, but was denied the "W" as the game went into a scoreless tenth inning with reliever Bobby Parnell. The Mets would walk off with a one-to-nothing victory in the bottom of that frame.

"I mean, obviously, everything was working," Harvey told a reporter after what was just the seventeenth start of his Major League career.

Home white pinstriped "Cool Base" garment features classic franchise styling, with blue and orange tackle twill reporting, "Mets 33" on chest and "Harvey 33" on verso. Left sleeve patch advertises the hosting of the 2013 All-Star Game at Citi Field. Lower left front tail announces "Majestic Authentic Collection Size 48," with a secondary tag reporting, "#33, 48, +2B '13 S4." Game wear evident. MLB Authentic EK490522. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
