2013 Ichiro Suzuki Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey. Holographic authentication sticker from Major League Baseball identifies this pinstriped gamer as having been worn by Japan's greatest active ballplayer in a Bronx meeting with his former club the Seattle Mariners on May 16, 2013. Core Four ace Andy Pettitte would lose a three to two decision to the visitors this day, but Ichiro provided some offense as he led off the bottom of the seventh inning with a single to center off Venezuelan right-hander Yoervis Medina to move one step closer to the 4,000 career hit mark. The jersey exhibits wear from the contest, and stands as the very first Ichiro Yankees gamer to reach the auction block of a major house. Logo "NY" appears over heart in navy tackle twill, giving way to a number "31" on verso. Lower left front tail is labeled "Majestic Authentic Collection [size] 42" with "2013" and "+.25 slv" flap tags below. A Yankees inventory label joins the MLB holographic sticker down here as well. MLB Authentic EK653430. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
