The Japanese superstar singles to move one step closer to 4,000 Hit Club

2013 Ichiro Suzuki Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey with Ichiro Letter. A sharp grounder off the glove of fellow countryman Munenori Kawaski was too hot for the Toronto Blue Jays shortstop to handle in the bottom of the second, moving Ichiro one step closer to the 4,000 hit milestone he would reach four months later. The hit would load the bases and set up Eduardo Nunez' sacrifice ground-out to plate Vernon Wells and tie the game. The contest would remain tight right through to the ninth, when the great Mariano Rivera struck out Colby Rasmus with the bases loaded to claim his eighth save of the season in a six to four victory.

Presented is the home pinstriped gamer worn by Ichiro Suzuki in that heated battle, one of just a small handful of Yankee jerseys from the future Hall of Famer ever to enter the public domain. The classic format features the logo "NY" over the heart and number "31" in the same midnight tackle twill on verso, autographed in 10/10 silver sharpie and dated in Ichiro's hand. Lower left front tail is tagged "Majestic Authentic Collection" with three flap tags: "2013, 42, +.25" slv." A Yankees inventory code label appears below.

Wear is appropriate for a single game's use. With retirement and enshrinement in the not-too-distant future, there's reason to believe this is a piece with some real investment potential. Letter of provenance from Ichiro Suzuki. MLB Authentic EK653806. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
