2011 Victor Martinez ALCS Game Six Worn Detroit Tigers Jersey & Batting Helmet. Major League Baseball provides the authentication stickers and documents attributing the offered lot to the last game of the Detroit Tigers' 2011 season, a Game Six loss to the Texas Rangers, who would go on to lose a heartbreaker of a World Series to the St. Louis Cardinals. "Cool Base" road grey jersey provides tri-tone tackle twill "Detroit 41" on the chest and "Martinez 41" on verso. Right sleeve reveals a Sparky Anderson memorial patch. Lower left front tail is tagged "Majestic Authentic Collection" above an embroidered swatch reading, "41 48 '11 382." Light wear. Batting helmet is actually listed in the MLB database as "Team Issued," but strong game wear is clearly apparent, with various scratches and pine tar decorating the shell. "Rawlings" and size "7 1/4" stickers appear inside, with number "41" decals on verso. MLB Authentic FJ894391. MLB Authentic FJ418253. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
