    2011 Derek Jeter Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey Signed by Jeter & Rivera. The Captain got off to a slow start in 2011, but as he rehabbed from a calf injury at the Yankees complex in his hometown of Tampa in June, he returned to the mechanics of his youthful prime, returning to record a scorching .326 in the last sixy-four games of the year. The offered road grey jersey is the last worn in the regular season by the future Hall of Famer, game 162 at Tropicana Field against the Tampa Bay Rays.

    The design is timeless and instantly familiar, with a navy-on-white tackle twill "New York" in block on the chest and the last single digit of the Yankee wardrobe similarly applied to verso. Lower left front tail is tagged, "Majestic Authentic Collection" with "2011" and size "48" flap tags below. A Yankees inventory label is affixed beneath.

    Rear numeral is signed by the team's Hit and Save Kings--Jeter and Mariano Rivera--with the latter adding a notation reading, "One closer to Another." Game wear is definite but appropriately light, as Jeter wore jerseys only once at this stage of his career. MLB Authentic FJ609034. Steiner 166229. Yankees 0000001572.
