2011 Albert Pujols Game Worn, Signed St. Louis Cardinals Jackie Robinson Day Jersey - Used in Two Home Run Performance. Albert Pujols is a once in a lifetime player. The entire American League is on notice as it appears Pujols has fully recovered from a number of recent injuries that had sapped him of his strength. Baseball honors its past like no other sport. Each year since 2004, baseball has held Jackie Robinson Day in honor of the trailblazing Hall of Famer. Pujols paid the ultimate tribute to Robinson when he smacked two home runs April 11, 2011 as the Cardinals disposed of the Dodgers 11-2. Worn that fateful day is this "Majestic [size] 54" road jersey. Light one-game use, as would be expected, is found on the button-up knit garment. Pujols signed the reverse in 10/10 black felt tip and inscribed the following: "Jackie Robinson Day. 2 Homeruns 4-15-11." Each of the numbers is crafted in two-tone tackle twill. The Cardinals team insignia includes chenille threads. Three labels appear in the tail: Majestic ("5" written in black marker), "Set 1 2011" and size. Curled up inside is a Majestic "0062" inventory code flag tag. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
