    Description

2010 Max Scherzer Game Worn Detroit Tigers Turn Back the Clock Jersey & Cap. When Max Scherzer turned down a six-year $144 million dollar offer many thought he was crazy. But it will be the talented righty who should be laughing all the way to the bank when he pens his name to a contract in the future. Scherzer wore this "AIS [size] 48" pinstriped jersey June 12, 2010 when the Tigers and Pirates tangled in a Turn Back the Clock contest which the Tigers were the Detroit Stars. While Scherzer didn't toe the rubber, he did at least wear the offered jersey. Each of the identifiers is manufactured in single-color tackle twill and shows appropriate use. The right sleeve contains an "EH" memorial patch worn in honor of Ernie Harwell. A lone AIS tag is sewn in the tail which includes an MLB hologram (FJ 033269). Also includes is a "California Custom Caps [size] 7.25" cap worn by the hurler. "37" is written inside, and an MLB hologram (FJ 033259) is affixed under the bill. MLB Authentic FJ 033269 and FJ 033259. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
