2010 Justin Verlander Game Worn Detroit Tigers Jersey. Justin Verlander has set the bar pretty high for pitching excellence. Only a select few have been so dominant that they have garnered Cy Young and MVP consideration. In 2011, Verlander reached baseball immortality when he took home both honors. According to the MLB website, this "Majestic [size] 48" dri-fit jersey has an authentication date of June 11, 2010. Worth special mention is an Ernie Harwell circular memorial disc patch over the right sleeve. "D" is proudly displayed over the heart in single-color Old English midnight navy tackle twill on front while "Verlander 10" is visible on back. Applied in the tail is a Majestic rubberized tag (MLB hologram affixed) and "35 48 09 392" swatch. A staffer's initials, similar to what was offered on the Verlander in Heritage's May 2012 auction, is penned in black marker over the Majestic tag. Secured in the inner side is a Majestic "0063" inventory coded flag tag. MLB Authentic FJ 033159. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
